Luminous sweet umami, vibrant young spring greens, and silky floral nectar in a stone-milled Japanese green tea powder.
The Story
Rooted in centuries of mindful Japanese tea ceremony, Matcha transforms daily refreshment into an intentional, grounding ritual. We source early first-harvest green tea leaves that are shaded from sunlight for several weeks before plucking, boosting chlorophyll and amino acid production to develop rich sweetness and brilliant jade-green color. After careful de-stemming, the pure tencha leaves are slowly granite stone-milled into a micro-fine powder. When whisked, it produces a thick, emerald crema and a velvety, creamy liquor boasting rich umami sweetness and zero bitter astringency.

Recommended Brew Methods
- Traditional Whisked Bowl (Usucha): Sift 1 rounded teaspoon (about 2g) into a wide ceramic bowl or mug. Pour in 2 to 3 oz of warm water (160°F to 175°F, avoiding boiling water to protect the delicate amino acids). Whisk vigorously in a "W" pattern using a bamboo chasen until a dense, velvety micro-foam coats the surface.
- Morning Matcha Latte (Top Pick): Whisk 1 teaspoon of matcha with 2 oz of warm water until smooth and lump-free. Pour over 6 to 8 oz of warm steamed oat milk or whole milk.
- Iced Matcha Tonic or Latte: Whisk your matcha shot, fill a tall glass with ice and cold milk or sparkling water, and pour the vibrant green shot on top for a stunning layered drink.
- Honey Touch: Whisk in a teaspoon of raw golden honey or agave nectar to highlight the natural umami sweetness.
